5th Jun 2020
The Irish National Stud & Gardens will re-open to the general public on Monday June 8th. The opening hours will be from 10:00 am – 18:00 pm during this period for 7 days a week.
All visits to the stud and gardens must be pre-booked , by contacting the reservations team via email on email@example.com or via phone on +353 (0) 45 521617. Please allow at least 72 hours in advance to ensure your booking can be processed. This is for your safety to ensure a controlled entry of people.
Annual members will be exempt and allowed to visit without the need to pre-book. We are making available the period from 9:00 am to 10:00 am each morning for annual members with special requirements.
The playground and museum will remain closed until further notice. The restaurant will provide a limited take-away menu.
Visitors to the attraction will be expected to fully comply with all public health advice, especially with regards to hand hygiene, cough etiquette and social distancing. The Irish National Stud & Gardens have taken significant measures around the site, following government public health advice protocols to help with this. The measures adopted are for the safety of visitors and staff in the hope of a wider resumption of services in the near future.
From Monday 8th June there will be over 400 acres opened up to visitors, to get out in the fresh air in safe surroundings. The gardens are in full bloom, the fairies have returned in a brand-new walking trail and there are plenty of foals to meet with over 260 born this year.
Tourism Development Manager David Wardell said, “Over the past two weeks we have successfully taken the first steps towards a resumption of our full services, starting with our Annual Members. From Monday 8th June we are ready to extend our welcome to the general public. We ask for your patience and co-operation as we work towards welcoming you back to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and friendly environment.”
