Mystic Pearl, an impressive three-year-old filly sired by the renowned Invincible Spirit, claimed a thrilling victory in the Listed Coral Distaff at Sandown. Trained by the esteemed William Haggas and owned by Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum, Mystic Pearl displayed her class and determination on the track. Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, she is the first foal out of Ertiyad, by Dark Angel.
Midway through the straight, Mystic Pearl faced a challenging task it seemed as she had plenty to do. However, she showcased a notable surge of improvement, ultimately surpassing the two leading contenders who had, in turn, weakened each other. In her debut performance at the Listed level, Mystic Pearl emerged triumphant, securing victory by a hard-fought 3/4 length.
With this impressive win, Mystic Pearl now sets her sights on Group company. She joins the ranks of Invincible Spirit’s impressive progeny, further highlighting the stallion’s knack for producing top-class fillies.
