What are your opening times?
Pre-Booking essential. The Irish National Stud & Gardens are open from February until late December, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) from 10:00am – 18:00pm.
From November to December the Irish National Stud & Gardens will be open 7 days a week from 10:00 am until 16:00 pm (last admission 15:00 pm).
Are you open all year round?
No, we close for the winter period from late December to early February.
Can I purchase tickets on arrival?

How long is an online ticket valid for?
Online tickets are valid for the day in which they have been purchased for. If you require to change the date of your visit please email [email protected]

How do I get to the Irish National Stud & Gardens?
Brallistown Little, Tully, Co. Kildare, R51 KX25, Ireland
The Irish National Stud in Co. Kildare is an ideal family trip from a number of locations in Ireland with it being only 45 minutes from Dublin and two hours from Waterford, Cork and Galway.
Travelling from the M7 take Exit 13 in the direction of Nurney on the R415 as far as Newtown Cross. Turn left and continue to the T-Junction. Signage will bring you to the grounds.
There is a Direct Rail Service to Kildare from Dublin, Limerick, Waterford, Westport and Cork (via Portlaoise). Visit www.irishrail.ie to view timetables.
Is there parking at the Irish National Stud & Gardens?
Yes, there is free parking at the Stud & Gardens.
Is the Irish National Stud accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, the stud farm and St. Fiachra’s Garden and fully accessible. The Japanese Gardens are partially accessible.
Can I bring my dog to the Stud & Gardens?
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your pet.
Is there a cash point/ATM at the Stud & Gardens?
No, there is no cashpoint/ATM at the Stud & Gardens.
Can we bring food to have a picnic?
There are picnic benches on site.
Is there a restaurant at the Irish National Stud & Gardens?
Yes, our restaurant serves fresh, wholesome food – hot dishes, sandwiches, salads and wraps as well as freshly baked breads, scones, desserts and cakes.
How long do the guided tours last?
Guided tours of the stud farm last 45 minutes. Public tour times vary throughout the season. The Japanese Gardens are a self-guided tour, which last approximately 30 minutes.
