Retail Supervisor

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join our tourism team as we continue to develop our range of visitor attractions. This is a permanent full time role reporting to the Tourism Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day running of our new retail shop, including stock management / merchandising / stocktaking.
  • Staff Management including rostering /Training /Till Management
  • Daily cash handling, control and associated administration.
  • Work closely with the Tourism Management Team. Accountancy Team and HR.
  • Oversee the EPOS system.
  • Maintaining customer care standards.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards


Key skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years retail supervisory experience.
  • Excellent people management skills
  • A strong commitment to customer service and maintaining excellent retail standards.
  • The ability to understand and analyze sales figures.
  • Planning and organizational skills with an ability to multi task and coordinate ongoing projects.
  • Availability to work weekend days.

Grounds Maintenance

This is a Full time seasonal position reporting to the Gardens Supervisor. The successful applicant will be involved in:

  • Lawn Maintenance
  • Weed control /Strimming
  • General grounds maintenance including mowing.

Applicants should be safety conscious, and enjoy being part of a team. An interest in Horticulture would be an advantage.

Car Parking Attendants

We are seeking to hire a car parking assistants for the 2022 season.

Candidates will be required to have availability over weekends and bank holidays from their start date until September 2022. The car parking assistant will be expected to: 

  • Direct traffic into designated areas
  • Engage with visitors
  • Adhere to health and safety protocol
  • Regularly report to the tourism management team
