Invincible Spirit enjoyed a Group Race treble at the weekend – with 2 Group 2 winners at Chantilly and a Group 3 winner at Haydock on Saturday.
Cable Bay got the ball rolling on Saturday in the Gr.3 Timeform Jury Stakes over seven furlongs at Haydock. Cable Bay had previously placed in the Gr.1 Dewhurst Stakes and the son of Invincible Spirit stayed on the best to claim this seven furlong Group 3. He is out of Irish National Stud mare Rose de France who is a daughter of Gr.1 Haydock Sprint Cup and Gr.1 Prix Maurice de Gheest victor, Cherokee Rose.
In France on Sunday, Muthmir won the first race at Chantilly when taking the Group 2 Prix du Gros – Chene over 5 furlongs. He got up in the dying strides and got the verdict by a short head. Another son of Invincible Spirit, Spirit Quartz was back in 3rd place.
Invincible Spirit struck again in the fillies Group 2 when Impassable took the Prix de Sandringham over a mile at Chantilly. The margin of victory was more substantial in the mile Group 2 as Impassable won going away to beat the Lawman filly La Berma by three parts of a length.
It was another fantastic weekend for our flagship stallion Invincible Spirit and we would like to congratulate all connections on their success.
