Racehorses Announced for I.N.S. Racing

2nd Nov 2018

We are delighted to announce the chosen club horses for I.N.S. Racing. They are made up of both flat and national hunt and are at various stages in their career.

Lethal Promise

2016 – Filly   Sire: Invincible Spirit      Dam: Lethal Quality      Rating: 98

The first racehorse is Lethal Promise, a stunning two year old by Invincible Spirit out of Lethal Quality trained by Willie

McCreery. Lethal Promise has had a total of  6 starts  in  both Ireland and England and has run in very good company. She has provided  two winning days out this year. The first win, at Naas Racecourse, was won easy, making all the running, under jockey Billy Lee. Her other win was in Fairyhouse Racecourse, again under the guidance of Billy Lee. Lethal Promise eased her way to the front to storm home and could not be caught to take the Listed Blenheim Stakes without any worries from competitors. What a day! Lethal Promise is a very talented filly and has given us the thrills of having a high class racehorse. Who knows she could bring us to Royal Ascot next year!!

Divine Approach

2015 – Filly          Sire: Dawn Approach          Dam: Artisia        Rating: 78

Divine Approach, a three year old half-sister to three-time Melbourne Cup runner-up Red Cadeaux. We introduced you all to her last year and she has done nothing but improve this season.  Divine Approach has enjoyed her work immensely and started her three year old campaign in Gowran Racecourse, County Kilkenny earlier in the year. Since then, she has brought us to each corner of Ireland and finally took centre stage in Navan Racecourse in County Meath, storming her way through the field to take victory for jockey Leigh Roche and trainer Michael O’Callaghan by 4 lengths beating 17 rivals on this oaccasion. She was very impressive and there will be a lot more to come from Divine Approach as she grows into a fine strong filly.

Thunder and Roses

2008 – Gelding      Sire: Presenting       Dam: Glen Empress      Rating: 131

The winner of the Irish Grand National in 2015, Thunder and Roses was purchased to join INS Racing this year. The 131 rated gelding will go in training with Ross O’Sullivan who is based in County Kildare, who with the help of wife, Katie Walsh could enable us to travel to the big National Hunt Festivals! Who knows, we could be off to Cheltenham, Aintree & beyond!

Twenty Times is from the high-class family of Group 1 winner Flag of Honour.

Ruler of the World ex Katch Me Katie

2016 – Filly     Sire: Ruler of the World     Dam: Katch Me Katie

She is extremely well related and is a daughter of the Epsom Derby winner & Group 1 first season sire, Ruler of the World. She will go in training with 21 times Champion and legendary trainer Dermot Weld, who is based on the Curragh in County Kildare.

Free Eagle ex Spinamix

2017 – Colt    Sire: Free Eagle     Dam: Spinamix

By the Royal Ascot Group 1 winning sire, Free Eagle, this sharp, good-looking and athletic colt is a half brother to 9 winners. Six of which gained valuable black type status. This yearling colt will go into training with Patrick Prendergast in early January, when he becomes a two year old and will begin his education and career as a racehorse.
