The two-year-old seized the Novice Stakes at Lingfield in style under the guidance of the jockey David Egan for Trainer Charlie Hills and Owner Ann Plummer (One More Moment of Madness & Partner) who had also owned and trained his sire Phoenix of Spain, in those iconic pink and blue silks.
Bred by John Grogan, The Ice Phoenix is the 13th foal out Bratislava, who has produced 9 indivudal winners including the highly rated Katla (6f inc 2yo/Listed; RPR 106), Rapid Reaction (Group-placed 5f; 101) and Eaglefield (7f; 99).
Purchased at the Goffs Orby Sale for €65,000, where he caught the discerning eye of his Trainer Charlie Hills and McKeever Bloodstock.
