Chairmanfourtimes lands the Listed Roseberry Stakes at Ayr.

 

Ayr (British EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes (Listed) of £35,500)

As the race began, Chairmanfourtimes was towards the rear, from a strong pace from the off, he was then switched to the right and made significant headway over a furlong out. When the race heated up inside the final furlong, the racing room was tight but McSweeney switched the rapid son of Nando Parrado to the right again and went on to show his winning drive and turn of foot to win by half a length.

 

Giving weight to highly rated, previous stakes winners in the race, this win marks a notable breakthrough win for the colt. Trainer Adrian Keatley commented after that he is looking forward to what Chairmanfourtimes can progress to achieve, particularly next year as a three year old, over similar sprinting distances

 

Chairmanfourtimes was bred by Bernard Cooke. The son of Nando Parrado realised £50,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up when selling to Dan Astbury / Andy Finneran / Keatley Racing
