Notable sales included Lot 56, a colt out of Caterina di Cesi from Ballyphilip Stud, who sold to Highflyer Bloodstock for £24,000, destined for the yard of trainer Eve Johnson Houghton.
Another standout from Ballyphilip, Lot 220, a colt out of Kitty Softpaws, went to Clive Cox Racing for £45,000—Cox’s second purchase by Nando Parrado, the horse he trained to win the 2020 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Other high profile trainers adding Nando Parrado progeny to their ranks include Richard Hannon, Richard Fahey, and Mark Usher.
Attention now turns to the Tattersalls Fairyhouse Sale, where 19 Nando Parrado yearlings are catalogued from 24th to 26th September. We’re excited to see where these yearlings will go.
