Garden Masterclass: From Plot to Perfection

Unlock the Secrets of the Garden.

Friday 30th May, 11am – 3pm
Irish National Stud & Gardens, Co. Kildare

Get stuck into a practical day of gardening advice and inspiration at the first-ever Garden Masterclass at the Irish National Stud & Gardens.

Led by John Smyth, an expert with years of hands-on experience, and joined by Ruta Makaraite, who’s spent a lifetime working with plants, this event is all about real-world gardening — from growing your own veg to planning your planting for the year ahead.

The morning kicks off in the Osborne Centre with a talk and Q&A, before heading out for a Walk & Talk through the grounds, including the Japanese Gardens and St. Fiachra’s Garden. Expect useful tips, honest advice, and plenty of ideas you can take home with you.

Lunch is included at the Japanese Gardens Restaurant — a chance to put the feet up, chat with other gardeners, and swap a few stories.

Whether you’re just getting started or know your way around a border, this is a relaxed, welcoming day designed to share good knowledge in a great setting — right in the heart of Kildare. Learn more here.
