A last hurraaaaarrrghhhh!

25th Sep 2017

Before the curtains close on our wonderful season, ladies and gents, girls and boys, join us for one last visit to our famous Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens.

An abundance of autumn beauty, fairies, flowers, nature at its finest and the chance to get up close and personal to our Living Legends – five of the best known racehorses in the world!

As if you needed more?

But more there most certainly is!  We can’t let the Halloween holidays go unnoticed!  Starting 31st October until 3rd November, we’ll be asking our resident pony Prince & his buddies to don their saddles and bridles to offer FREE pony rides to all our little visitors.

They’ve taken some rest after the summer and are now raring to get going again and may have some appropriate decorations too!

Join us from 11am-12.30pm and 2-3.30pm on the dates above for a chance to hop onboard a pony.  Face painting obligatory whilst you wait!

Hopefully our ponies wont be too afraid of your little ones however, as we invite them to dress in their scariest outfits, ready for our competition with spot prizes along the way!  Take the fairy trail route through St Fiachra’s or paddle through our stepping stones in the Japanese Gardens for hours of outdoor fun.  For the greatest skeleton of all – pop in to the museum, you won’t be disappointed!

Marie-Lou will also be running the Front Runner Club where she’ll enable your kids to learn about the lives and loves of a thoroughbred. Great fun for all ages and an interactive way to learn about one of Ireland’s most successful exports.

This is a full day out so allow 4/5 hours to really make the most of it.  Our cafe will be serving seasonal recipes along with the usual cakes and treats – and for a great warm up, hot chocolate and marshmallows all round!
