Thoroughbred Breeding Management
The first Thoroughbred Breeding course was held in the Irish National Stud in 1971 and it remains the best-known equine training programme to this day.
The World-Renowned Thoroughbred Breeding Management Course is a six-month residential programme which is designed to provide learners with a hands-on approach to every feature of thoroughbred breeding. To date over 1200 learners from 30 countries have graduated from the course and are prominent in the equine industry across four corners of the globe.

The Irish National Stud is part of our heritage and provides a unique opportunity for school children to get close up to horses and wildlife.
Children have the opportunity to interact on a tour of a working stud farm and get the chance to enjoy a fun, activity session in our classroom where they can touch and try on our range of equestrian equipment.
