Bat Walk at St. Fiachra’s Garden – 20th May at 9pm

Join us for a Bat Walk through St. Fiachra’s Garden on Monday 20th May at 9pm and discover the hidden world of bats at the Irish National Stud & Gardens.

Led by Bat Expert Anna Collins of Kildare Bat Group, who are members of Bat Conservation Ireland, this guided Bat Walk is a unique opportunity to explore the gardens after dark and learn about Ireland’s native bat species. The team will use specialist equipment that allows you to hear and detect the bats as they fly and feed—something you can’t experience on your own.

This is a ticket-only event. Please arrive at the visitor centre to redeem your ticket, and an opening chat with Anna before the walk begins. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the walk, please do not bring them to the Stud.

Whether you’re interested in wildlife, conservation, or simply want to see the gardens in a new light, this once-off Bat Walk is a chance to witness nature in action—guided by experts who know the landscape and its species inside out.
