Boiling Over lands his maiden at Leicester

Race Recap

As the race started Boiling Over was held up behind leader near side. As the race unfolded, he was ridden to challenge over 2f out. Halla Bil Zain who finished 2^nd entered into a   sustained battle with Boiling Over throughout final furlong. Boiling Over stayed on well and fought back all the way and led on the line to win a tightly contested contest over the 7-furlong trip.

 

Background

Bred by Yulong Investments, the colt is by Lucky Vega out of Bubbling Up (Galileo). He holds an entry in the William Hill Two-Year-Old Trophy L. of £150,000.  He had previously competed and ran with much credit in highly competitive races before winning today.

Loz Vegas Triumphs at Sandown Park

Race Recap

As the race began Loz Vegas found himself 2nd early, chasing the leaders. He then moved into contention over 2f out. There wasn’t much room when he made his final move over a furlong out. The well supported favourite, Corinth  kept right under pressure and didn’t offer much room inside final furlong, he was repeatedly bumped by rival inside the final 100 yards. Ultimately Loz Vegas winning run was hampered by Corinth and was held close home, finished 2nd, placed 1^st.

Loz Vegas was bred by Bundaberg Ltd, he realised £19,000 gns when selling from West Park Farm to Federico Barberini at Book 3 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.
