Echo of Faith Triumphs in Roscommon Maiden

Echo Of Faith, trained by Jessica Harrington and ridden by Shane Foley, claimed an impressive victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Roscommon on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. Returning after a 79-day break, the two-year-old raced prominently and sealed the win by three-quarters of a length over Spinning Around, with Idiocracy completing the frame.

 

Winning Time: 1m 33.01s

Echo Of Faith tracked the leaders along the inner rail. He encountered some congestion with 2f to go but found racing room in the final furlong, finishing powerfully to overtake and edge clear near the line. Jockey Shane Foley guided Echo Of Faith with composure, ensuring he struck between horses at the right moment to seize the lead. A previous 4th‑place finish in a Listowel maiden back in June had shown promise, and the added time and stepping up in trip paid dividends here.
