Get ready for one of the most adorable events of the summer – the Teddy Bear Picnic is coming to the Irish National Stud & Gardens! Join us on Tuesday 5th August from 12pm to 4pm at the Thatched Cottage for a fun-filled afternoon especially for families and their favourite cuddly companions.
It’s the ultimate family day out, with something to delight children (and bears!) of all ages. Expect teddy bear mascots on hand for big bear hugs and photo ops, plus classic picnic games like teddy bingo, musical statues, and a mini bear hunt to keep everyone entertained.
Capture the memories in our teddy-tastic photo booth, complete with cute backdrops for bear selfies. Get creative with arts & crafts, enjoy a colourful face painting session, or sit back for a magical round of storytelling featuring the timeless tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Little adventurers can bounce the day away on the bouncy castle, whirl on the carousel, test their aim at the penalty shoot-out, or zoom down the giant slide…
Hungry? There’ll be a sizzling BBQ and food truck on site, or simply bring your own picnic and settle in on the grass in our dedicated picnic blanket zone.
