The buzz around Lucky Vega continues to grow, with the young sire proving a hot commodity at the Inglis Sales In Australia. His first-crop yearlings were in high demand, achieving a 100% clearance rate, with eight lots sold for a total of $1.4 million.
Topping the charts was a standout yearling fetching $340,000, while his progeny averaged $172,500—a staggering nine times his 2022 stud fee.
On the track, his stock is already delivering. Yulong-bred and sold Within The Law (ex Contract Signed) put in a brave run to finish second in the Listed Inglis Millennium, storming home late in an eye-catching performance following up from her win in the Listed Inglis Nursery at Randwick.
Adding to the excitement, Lucky Lass (ex Daddyalwayssays) became Lucky Vega’s third Southern Hemisphere winner from just five runners, scoring impressively on debut at Gold Coast Turf Club.
With both sales-ring success and racetrack results down under, now is the time to book into Lucky Vega with his first northern hemisphere runners set to debut this spring.
His fee remains at €12,500 for 2025 season. Call today to discuss your matings.
