Leading Trainers have been quick to secure Lucky Vega yearlings

Lucky Vega, the brilliant Gr.1 Phoenix Stakes winner who stormed to victory by 3.5 lengths as a juvenile, is already making waves with his first crop of two-year-olds down under.

In their very first starts, Lucky Vega’s offspring have shown serious potential:

Two barrier trial wins and a maiden win – all on debut.

The buzz around Lucky Vega’s progeny extends beyond the racetrack. After Goffs Book 1 Sale, where he offered 11 yearlings, his average was €90,000.

In total 54 yearlings have gone through the ring, with an average of €50,000 (over three times his stud fee)

Prices achieved included: €225,000, €225,000, €150,000, €135,000, and €100,000….

Leading trainers have secured his yearlings, include:

Richard Hannon (x3), Jessica Harrington (x2), Archie Watson, George Scott, Owen Burrows, Adrian Keatley, David O’Meara, Gemma Tutty, Tom Dascombe (x2), Amy Murphy, and Phil Cunningham.

With 9 more yearlings set to go under the hammer at Tattersalls in the coming days, there’s growing excitement to see where Lucky Vega’s progeny go.

Breeze-up consignors have also eagerly secured several Lucky Vega yearlings, signaling that his offspring are showing all the promise of following in their sire’s Gr.1-winning footsteps.
