The Lucky Vega yearlings continue to prove popular at the sales! This week, the yearling sales at Tattersalls Somerville Sale saw some strong results for the first-crop sire.
Lot 315, from Mickley Stud, was snapped up by LDS Bloodstock and is set to join the yard of Amy Murphy. Meanwhile, Lot 388, a well-regarded colt from Ladytown Stables, was purchased for 45,000gns by Highflyer Bloodstock and Phil Cunningham, his second Lucky Vega yearling to purchase.
Other high-profile trainers adding Lucky Vega progeny to their ranks include Richard Hannon, who secured two yearlings, and Tom Dascombe.
Attention now turns to the upcoming Tattersalls Fairyhouse Sale, where 21 Lucky Vega yearlings are catalogued from 24th to 26th September. Expectations remain high for this exciting young sire.
