  • The ITM Irish Stallion Trail20/01/2015The ITM Irish Stallion Trail is a great opportunity to view many of the world’s leading stallions as Ireland’s top Flat & National Hunt Stud farms open their doors over three days. Before the official opening of the traditional covering season of early to mid-February, Irish stud farms will showcase some of the very best sires available to breeders in 2015.

  • Irish National Stud Breeding and Racing Club Trainer Selected17/01/2015Willie McCreery will train the first two-year-old for the Irish National Stud Breeding and Racing Club this year, a filly by Invincible Spirit.

  • Americain will stand at the Irish National Stud in 201516/01/2015John Osborne said ‘the handsome Americain will be popular on looks alone and his first foals have his strength and quality. He will bring balance to our roster which is dominated by speed influences. Americain’s pedigree has class in every generation and his sire was revered in America and a classic sire in Europe. Americain can emulate that given the support his race record deserves. Mr. Kelley will be keen to race his stock.

Tourist Attractions: Opening Times & Admission

The Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens will close from Friday 28 November 2014 and will re-open on Sunday 1 February 2015.
