What are your opening times?

We open Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) from 9:00am – 6:00pm. The Stud & Gardens are closed for the winter period from November to February.

Are you open all year round?

No, we close for the winter period from November to early February.

Can I purchase tickets on arrival?

Yes, you can purchase tickets on arrival but discounted tickets are available online – http://irishnationalstud.ie/tickets/

How long is an online ticket valid for?

Online tickets are valid for 12 months after the date of purchase.

Do you have Annual Tickets?

Yes, click here to purchase a Season Pass.

Is there parking at the Irish National Stud & Gardens?

Yes, there is free parking at the Stud & Gardens.

Is the Irish National Stud accessible for people with disabilities?

Yes, the stud farm and St. Fiachra’s Garden and fully accessible. The Japanese Gardens are partially accessible.

Can I bring my dog to the Stud & Gardens?

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your pet.

Is there a cash point/ATM at the Stud & Gardens?

No, there is no cashpoint/ATM at the Stud & Gardens.

Can we bring food to have a picnic?

There are picnic benches in the car park area.

Is there a restaurant at the Irish National Stud & Gardens?

Yes, our restaurant serves fresh, wholesome food – hot dishes, sandwiches, salads and wraps as well as freshly baked breads, scones, desserts and cakes.

How long do the guided tours last?

Guided tours of the stud farm last 45 minutes. Public tour times vary throughout the season, please click here for current tour times.  The Japanese Gardens are a self-guided tour, which last approximately 30 minutes.

What languages are your self-guide leaflets available in?

Our self-guide leaflets are available in English, Irish, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Danish, Polish, Russian.

How can I make a group booking or discuss group rates?

Group bookings can be made over the phone with our reservations team on 045-521617, by e-mailing reservations@irishnationalstud.ie , or by filling out our group booking form here.
