The Roger Charlton trained Zain Nights broke his maiden in promising style under Trevor Whelan at Newbury on Friday, going away from the field at the line to win by ¾ of a length. Having raced in midfield throughout the race, Trevor Whelan and Zain Nights had to weave through horses and switch to the outside to make their challenge. Once the pair found room to make their challenge Zain Night picked up well and hit the line strongly looking like an exciting prospect for next year in the process. Many congratulations to owner Asaad Al Banwan and breeder Blue Diamond Stud.
