Sixth Winner for Free Eagle

15th Aug 2019

Flylikeaneagle, two year old colt by Free Eagle became his sires 6th individual yesterday when making all in the made all in the Beverley maiden. Second on debut at Newcastle on 27th July, the colt dominated throughout winning by 1 1/2 lengths showing plenty of ability.

Bred by Corduff Stud, his dam Dulcian (Shamardal), is out of a winning half to Gr.1 Stakes Winning sire Mount Abu (Ire) (Foxhound), and is also related to the dam of Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes and Gr.1  Nearctic Stakes heroine Serious Attitude (Mtoto). He is a half-brother to two winners by Acclamation, including the four-times Listed-placed Chessman.

Congratulations to his trainer Mark Johnston who purchased the colt from Goffs Orby yearling sale for just €25,000 for Barbara & Alick Richmond. Flylikeaneagle looks another exciting prospect for his young sire.
