Weseekhimhere, 4 year old son of Elusive Pimpernel won the INH Flat race by an impressive 11 lengths yesterday at Galway under Jockey Jamie Codd for Trainer Gordon Elliott and Owners John Doyle and Caren Walsh. Bred by Kildaragh Stud, Weseekhimhere is the second produce of the Jeremy mare Rhythm Nation. He is a Goffs Landrover graduate when selling for €70,000 to Aiden O’ Ryan and Gordon Elliott.
Racing Post Analysis: Weseekhimhere was hugely impressive on what was effectively his debut. He had a run at Roscommon, but he learned nothing there as he was eased when short of room early in the straight, but he has a pretty decent engine and showed what he’s made of here. Ridden closer to the pace, he took over to lead two furlongs out and, the further he went, the better he looked. He could have a nice future.
Post-race Trainer Gordon Elliott commented ‘’I liked him going to Roscommon and it was unfortunate what happened there (badly hampered in-running). He did that very impressively and could go jumping later in the season. It’s great for John (Doyle) and Caren (Walsh) who are great supporters of the yard.’’
Weseekhimhere looks another exciting prospect for his sire Elusive Pimpernel.
