Racing Post analysis; Vulcan is improving fast and beginning to look more like the finished article mentally, typically cruising into contention but this time having the full end product, powering away in the final furlong. The hat-trick beckons, particularly if he takes his chance unpenalised at Wolverhampton next week.

Post race yesterday Jockey Saffie Osborne commented ‘That was pretty straightforward. I felt like I was on the winner a long way out and Vulcan travelled so well. He’s consistent and genuine, and showed he stays that trip.’
