Summer Fun At National Park
20th Jun 2016
There are plenty of fun activities taking place at the Irish National Stud & Gardens this summer. Every Wednesday and Sunday during July and August, there will be free pony rides and face-painting. These activities are scheduled for 11:00am until 12:30pm and 2:00pm until 3:30pm.
We are delighted to be teaming up with The Irish Fairy Door Company this year to bring you a magical Fairy Trail through our gardens and wooded area. Fairies, including Derby, who helps with all our horses, have descended upon the Irish National Stud & Gardens and are looking forward to meeting our visitors. Children will be given a map to help them locate the fairies who have taken up residency here.
Visitors can also enjoy the regular attractions including the very beautiful Japanese Gardens and the serene and spiritual St. Fiachra’s Garden. The six ‘Living Legends’, Beef Or Salmon, Hardy Eustace, Hurricane Fly, Kicking King, Moscow Flyer and Rite Of Passage, can be seen in their paddock every day enjoying their retirement from racing. Our newly refurbished restaurant offers delicious homemade baked goods and wholesome lunches.
