The Irish National Stud Mare Syndicate enjoyed international success at Hakodate Racecourse in Japan on the 11th of July when their homebred Piedra Aguila broke his maiden over 9 furlongs by 2 lengths. Trained by Ken Kozaki and owned by Godolphin, the 3-year-old colt by Gleneagles is out of a Rock of Gibraltar Mare, Neuquen. Purchased by Paca Paca Farm at the 2018 Goffs Foal Sale for €40,000 he has earned over $99,000 in prizemoney this season from 4 starts.
