River Eden Impresses on debut

13th Jul 2021

Invincible Spirit added another impressive maiden winner to his record on Monday July 12th when the Joseph O’Brien trained River Eden, a 3-year-old filly out of a High Chaparral mare stormed to an 8 ½ length victory on debut in the Hollywoodbets Proudly Sponsors Dundalk Ladies Day Maiden. A barrier trial winner at the same track a fortnight ago, the daughter of Invincible Spirit cruised to the front after the 2 furlong marker proving herself to be in a different league to her rivals. In a post-race interview with jockey Declan McDonogh he stated that “she’s nice, very natural and a real cruiser. There was never a moment’s worry. She settled lovely and did everything right. I think after the barrier trial she has matured mentally so she’s in a good place”. Bred and raced by Sun Kingdom this filly looks to be an exciting prospect for the rest of the season.

Congratulations to all connections.
