French Champion 2yo NATIONAL DEFENSE has his first mares in foal.

The son of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT is being heavily supported by some of Europe’s leading breeders. Lanwades Stud’S ALTA MODA an unraced daughter of the great SADLERS WELLS and the dual Gr.1 Champion Stakes winner ALBORADA is his first mare to be scanned in foal on her first cover. ALTA MODA is already the dam of Shadwell Stud’s GHUTAR (OR111) a winner of the £ 500,000 Tattersalls 2yo Millions Trophy. Coincidently Barouche Stud’s ALBOROUCHE herself will visit the Gr.1 Prix Jean Luc Lagardare winner in the coming weeks.


Meridian Bloodstock’s Ghislain Bozo and Brian Williamson have scanned their mare KIBARA (SADLERS WELLS ex KITHANGA by DARSHANN) in foal, on one cover. KIBARA is already the dam of DUBARA (OR91) she passed through Tattersalls December Sales 2017 for 180,000 gns.


Derby winning Breeder Mme A & Gilles Forien scanned his mare CAIPIRINIA in foal. Describing NATIONAL DEFENSE as “the perfect mix of KINGMAMBO and INVINCIBLE SPIRIT, a Champion Two Year Old and a beautiful sales horse, (August Arqana € 280,000 )he must have an exceptional chance at stud.” A daughter of HAWK WING, CAIPIRINIA is the dam of Juddmonte Farms SHOW ME (RPR102) she made €350,000 as a yearling at Arqana August Yearling Sale.  She has a 2yo full sister to SHOW ME in training in 2018.


National Defense stands for €12,000.
