Kojin continues to fly the flag for INS Racing

Kojin continues to fly the flag high for INS Racing and trainer Jessica Harrington thanks to his two most recent performances on the track. He was beaten an unlucky ¼ of a length at Ballinrobe Racecourse in the Lakes Gift Card Handicap on the 19th of July. He finished third behind the Matthew Smith trained Razdan and Noel Meade trained Ben Siegel. Sent off as the 3/1F he kept on well but faced a strong challenge inside the final furlong.

On the 31st of July he ran in the Irish Independent On Saturday Maiden at the Galway Festival where he finished a promising second behind Dermot Weld’s Sherkin Island who was sent off as the favourite. Ridden by jockey Shane Foley, Kojin raced in second throughout before being asked to quicken at the 2 furlong marker.

Kojin has given his members so much enjoyment over the last number of months and it’s only a matter of time before he comes out on top – until then he will keep knocking on the door!
