Invincible Army lands the Gr.2 Duke of York Stakes

16th May 2019

Invincible Army retains unbeaten as a 4-Year-Old as he took the Group 2 Duke of York Stakes in really impressive style for PJ McDonald and James Tate.

Bred by Rabbah Bloodstock, the son of Invincible Spirit, out of Group 1 Winner Rajeem, travelled smoothly throughout the race and quickly up stylishly with 2 furlongs to go and but the race to bed in a matter of strides.

He is now amongst the favourites for Royal Ascot’s showpiece Saturday race, the Gr.1 Golden Jubilee. Invincible Army’s full-brother was born at The Irish National Stud this season for new Breeders Tinnakill Bloodstock and we hope this colt can emulate his brother and his sire
