Hover, 3YO son of Free Eagle made his handicap debut a winning one when landing the Coral handicap at Goodwood for trainer Martin Meade, jockey Hector Crouch and owners Manton Park Racing.

Out of the Acclamation mare Badr Al Badoor, a half sister to multiple black type horses including Sire and Group 1 winner Profitable, Hover was bred by Sean and Anne Coughlan.

He was a Goffs Orby graduate when selling from Mountain View Stud for 90,000 euro.

Racing Post analysis;’ Hover is a half-brother to the sprinter Archer’s Dream and out of a mare who ran over no further than 7f, but his sire Free Eagle has clearly passed on the stamina, and he appreciated this step up to 1m2f on his handicap debut, finishing well after being switched for a clear run.’

Another progressive son for his sire Free Eagle we look forward to seeing him in the future.
