Elusive Pimpernel

Elusive Pimpernel

They Seek Him Here got Elusive Pimpernel off the mark last night at Kempton when taking the two year old maiden under Toby Atkinson for Hugo Palmer. Elusive Pimpernel has his first crop of two year olds this year and They Seek Him Here is one of just four runners so far for his sire.

The handsome colt won cosily despite showing signs of greenness. He is more value than his winning margin of three parts of a length would indicate.

As well as being the first winner for Elusive Pimpernel he is also the first winner for MPH Racing – a syndicate managed by former Irish National Stud student Jonathan Bryan, Rob Speers and Michael Hills.

Trainer of the colt Hugo Palmer had this to say “They Seek him Here is a gorgeous horse. We had to wait for 7f races, but he´s been wanting to do everything before we were ready”. We would like to congratulate all connections and look forward to seeing this exciting son of Elusive Pimpernel in the future.
