Having twice finished behind the top-class Ferny Hollow, including in the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase, Coeur Sublime got off the mark over fences with an effortless triumph in the beginners chase on Thyestes day at Gowran Park. Rachel Blackmore settled the son of Elusive Pimpernel in 3rd where he raced exuberantly throughout the race and jumped very well in the main, pulling well clear in the closing stages to record a 10 length victory. With this comfortable win under his belt, we are very much looking forward to seeing Coeur Sublime step back up in class. After the race his trainer Henry De Bromhead said, “He’s a horse with a lot of class. The Grand Annual is an option and he holds an entry in the Arkle. Whichever race it may be, he heads straight to Cheltenham.” Congratulations to all connected with Coeur Sublime and we look forward to seeing him take his chance in March!
