CLASSIC SUCCESS FOR INVINCIBLE SPIRIT

CLASSIC SUCCESS FOR INVINCIBLE SPIRIT

5th May 2019

There is not much Invincible Spirit hasn’t achieved at Stud and courtesy of Magna Grecia, winning a British Classic is now another box ticked. Out of the Galileo mare Cabaret, Magna Grecia won last season’s Gr.1 Vetrum Futurity Trophy and was the extremely impressive winner of the 2,000 Guineas on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Course. Trained by Aidan O’Brien and ridden by his son Donncha, Magna Grecia travelled supremely well throughout the race and powered home under the stands rail to win comfortably. Magna Grecia looks set to attempt the Guineas double with the Irish 2,000 Guineas immediately announced as the target after his success.

Magna Grecia was a 340,000guineas foal purchase by MV Magnier, Peter & Ross Doyle & Mayfair Speculators at Tattersalls December Foal Sales and was bred by Woodnook Farm.

Congratulations to all connections!
