Nuttorridge wins for Elusive Pimpernel

16th Aug 2021

The Mark Michael McNiff trained Nuttorridge enjoyed a 4 ½ length victory in the Quam Felix Sumus Handicap Hurdle at Downpatrick Racecourse on the 8th of August. After coming up close on several occasions the son of Elusive Pimpernel eventually got his day in the spotlight after going off as the 11/8F. As the field approached the 2 furlong marker jockey Philip Enright was short of room but managed to get himself back into position before jumping the last and going clear in the final 100 yards.

Congratulations to all connections.
